Everyday Joy
Joy doesn't always need a special occasion or a big plan. It can live in the music you play while making dinner, the flowers you bring home, a conversation that makes you laugh, the first sip of something you love, or a few quiet minutes that feel entirely your own. This is a space to notice, create, and make more room for the small pleasures that can bring more enjoyment to everyday life.

Practice: Notice What Feels Good
Joy can be easy to overlook when it arrives quietly.
A song comes on at exactly the right time. Your coffee tastes particularly good. The weather is beautiful. Someone sends a text that makes you laugh. You climb into freshly washed sheets. Dinner turns out exactly the way you wanted.
None of these moments has to change your life to make part of your day enjoyable.
For the next seven days, practice noticing them.

Don't search for the most meaningful moment.
Notice what actually felt good.
At the End of the Week
Look back over your seven moments.
Ask yourself:
What brought me joy that I could experience more often?
There may be something on your list that you can intentionally bring into your life again.
Play the music.
Call the friend.
Buy the flowers.
Sit outside.
Make the meal again.
Take the longer walk.
Sometimes making more room for joy starts with noticing what is already giving you some.
