Shift My Mindset

The way you think about yourself, your circumstances, and what is possible can influence the choices you make. Shifting your mindset does not require ignoring what is difficult or forcing yourself to feel positive. It begins with noticing the thoughts shaping your perspective, questioning the ones that no longer serve you, and making room for a more supportive way of seeing yourself and what comes next.

Perspectives to Explore

Pause & Reframe

Bring one thought that has been weighing on you to mind, and ask yourself:

What am I telling myself about this situation?

Which part is a fact, and which part is my interpretation?

Is this thought helping me respond clearly, or keeping me stuck?

What else could be true?

What would I say to someone I care about in this same situation?

What is one thought I can practice that feels both honest and more supportive?

You do not have to replace every difficult thought with a positive one. Look for a perspective that acknowledges what is real while giving you more room to choose your next step.
